-Helping communities around the world build infrastructures to protect and preserve their heritage over the long term.
Helping local communities build the governmental, financial, and technical infrastructures to preserve, protect, and sustain their heritage is a cornerstone of the World Monuments Fund's work. In areas where the tools and expertise to approach large-scale preservation projects are lacking, WMF assembles teams of international specialists to assist in designing conservation plans, conduct pilot projects, develop training programs, and plan for long-term stewardship of the sites.
