Join Members Project

Members Project is an innovative initiative from American Express and Take Part that allows you to vote, volunteer, share photos, and join conversations about the issues that matter the most to you. There is no cost associated with joining and you do not need to be an American Express Card member to join.

Before you can vote for World Monuments Fund to win a $200,000 grant in their online public voting campaign, you will first need to register with Take Part and Members Project. Please refer to the steps below.

1. Click onto http://www.takepart.com/groups/world-monuments-fund/54047 which will take you directly to WMF’s page on the Take Part American Express website.
2. Scroll down below the text about WMF and look for the “VOTE” box on the bottom left hand side. Click on the “VOTE” box.
3. You will then find yourself on a new page, where you should click the “Join Take Part” box on the right hand side.
4. You will then find the first of two pop-up windows, “STEP 1” which requires you to:
   • Make up a user name
   • Make up a password
   • Reconfirm your password
   • Enter your birthday (required to ensure that you are 18 years of age or older)
   • Opt in or out of receiving TakePart Newsletters by clicking or un-clicking the box
   • Accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking the box after you have scrolled down to the end of the text detailing the terms and conditions
   • Type the words displayed in the space provided below (to ensure your registration is not spam). If the words are too hard to read, simply click the reload or audio button.
   • Click the “JOIN” button at the bottom of the pop-up box
5. You will then find a second pop-up window, “STEP 2 of 2” which requires you to:
   • Answer whether you are an American Express Cardholder or not
   • Opt in or out of receiving updates on charities, the results of the voting rounds, and information about Members Project
   • Scroll down to the end of the section titled “Members Project Participation Terms” (NOTE: you must scroll down to the end, otherwise you won’t be able to “join,” complete your registration, and vote!)
   • Click the box below to accept the Members Project Participation Terms
   • Click the blue box “Join Members Project.” You are now officially registered to vote!

Once you're registered, don't forget to vote once a week for World Monuments Fund!
