Abstract:
Kent Diebolt, founder of the private firm Vertical Access, uses mountaineering techniques and equipment to conduct architectural surveys on buildings. Following the attacks of September 11, 2001, the firm has been assessing the damage to buildings surrounding the World Trade Center site in lower Manhattan.
