World Monuments Fund invites you to attend the presentation of the 2012 World Monuments Fund/Knoll Modernism Prize to the Architectural Consortium for Hizuchi Elementary School, for its exemplary restoration of Hizuchi Elementary School in Hizuchi, Yawatahama City, Ehime Prefecture, on Shikoku Island, Japan.
Presented every two years, the World Monuments Fund/Knoll Modernism Prize acknowledges the growing threats facing significant works of modernism, and recognizes the architects and designers who help ensure their rejuvenation and long-term survival. The Prize presentation will be followed by a lecture by the recipients.
