In 2011, as work was concluding at the Churning of the Sea of Milk Gallery, WMF workers discovered more than a dozen fragments from sculptures that once were on the roof, creating a stunning silhouette high above this sacred space. In 2013, WMF will return some of these fragments to the roof in concert with several newly carved sculptures, providing visitors with a sense of the original appearance of the temple. Help us complete this project by adopting a lotus sculpture for $2,500.

One of the defining elements of Phnom Bakheng, the oldest temple in Angkor Archaeological Park, are the brick shrines surrounding the temple. WMF has restored two as demonstration projects. You can help us complete more brick shrine conservation projects by adopting a brick shrine for $10,000, which will bring Phnom Bakheng more fully back to its original beauty.

WMF’s Adopt-a-Garuda program at Preah Khan was started in the 1990s by adventurous travelers and loyal donors. Their efforts sustained WMF’s work at Preah Khan for many years. Become a part of this great legacy by adopting a garuda for $25,000, which will help improve the conditions of the monastic complex and assist in continuing WMF’s efforts at Angkor.
