Experience at Arca Tierra in Xochimilco, part of a Canal Nacional project completion event. Guests included members of UNESCO Mexico, Mexico Territorio Creativo, Grupo Salinas, other art professionals, and Maria Reyna, a Oaxacan opera singer who performed during Watch Day.
One of the oldest and last remaining human-made waterways in Mexico City, Canal Nacional was included on the 2020 World Monuments Watch to celebrate the residents and associations that have championed it through the years despite limited resources and support.
