Crisis Response Fund

Providing critical stability for heritage—as soon as disaster strikes.

Our most treasured places—and the communities they anchor—face increasing threat from climate change, natural disaster, human conflict, and more. The Crisis Response Fund provides resources for early recovery actions so that heritage sites can help build community resiliency, create economic opportunity, and strengthen social cohesion in the wake of disaster.

Do you know a site in need of support?

Does your request involve a cultural heritage site that requires immediate response as a result of natural disaster or human conflict?

Does your request involve a small or medium scale project, requiring no more than $15,000 USD?

Was your site actively in use at the time of the disaster, with an urgency to resume activities for the community?

A commitment to response

Helping communities rebuild following disaster has been at the core of our work since the floods in Venice in 1966.
