Deborah Needleman

Deborah Needleman is a culture editor and writer. She was editor in chief of T magazine at the New York Times, editor in chief of WSJ magazine, and the founder and editor in chief of domino magazine at Condé Nast. She also created the Saturday section “Off Duty” for The Wall Street Journal. She is the author of The Perfectly Imperfect Home, and wrote on gardens as editor at large for House & Garden, and as a columnist for Slate magazine. She serves on the boards of National Book Foundation and the Battery Conservancy, and is active with the American Academy in Rome and the writer's organization PEN.
