Japan is home to a rich and diverse cultural heritage that dates back millennia. On this trip, you’ll explore architectural masterworks from numerous eras and enjoy exclusive access to some of the country's most treasured sites, including a private visit to the Golden Pavilion, a journey through one of the largest private gardens remaining in Kyoto, and a hard-hat tour of the ongoing preservation of a World Heritage Site in Nara. We’ll also look together at the ways in which the ancient informed the creation of sites in the 20th century.
