You’ll Be Amazed by Wat Chaiwatthanaram

Thank you — you are part of the global community that is helping our World Monuments Fund team in Thailand to conserve the merus, or towers, of Wat Chaiwatthanaram, in Ayutthaya – about an hour outside Bangkok.

It’s a spectacular site, and our team’s work there is dazzling and inspiring.

I recently traveled there, and I hope you’ll enjoy the slideshow I put together following my visit.  It showcases the beauty of the temple itself, the precision and excellence of our conservation practices, and our partnership with local stakeholders to steward the world’s most treasured sites as the hubs of resilient and socially vibrant communities.
