An Evening at Versailles
WMF's 60th Anniversary Gala at Versailles
Support World Monuments Fund
To mark our 60th anniversary, World Monuments Fund (WMF) is hosting a series of 60 exceptional events around the globe, including six major international galas.
In France, this celebration takes the form of a special gala at the Domaine du Trianon in the Château de Versailles on Friday, October 3, 2025. Under the theme Le Règne végétal – du Potager au Palais, the event brings together patrons, partners, and friends of WMF to honor six decades of dedication to preserving the world’s cultural heritage.
Join us in our essential work of protecting places of deep cultural significance. Your gift today helps WMF:

- Provide essential tools and materials for conservation projects
- Partner with communities to assess and meet their preservation needs
Thank you for standing with us to safeguard the irreplaceable.

Decorative Trees
The evening’s sculptured espalier centrepieces were imagined to showcase the horticultural theatre for which Potager du Roi designer and agronomist Jean-Baptiste de La Quintinie was famed. Created by artist Carlotta de Guitaut, these centrepieces mirror the flora of the Potager du Roi – including its cherry, pear, apple, and fig espaliers – which remained in bloom throughout the four seasons thanks to the Potager’s ingenious design.
$2,400 each (excluding delivery charges), of which $1,582 is tax deductible.
