Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of State, Visits Angkor Wat

Earlier this month, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and US Ambassador to Cambodia Carol A. Rodley toured WMF's project at Angkor Wat with WMF's Field Office Director Konstanze von zur Muehlen. The US Department of State has funded significant conservation work at Phnom Bakheng, another site in the Angkor Archaeological Park. Secretary Clinton's visit was brief, but provided an opportunity to express WMF's appreciation for the US government's support of cultural heritage at Angkor and significant training for Cambodians, advancing their skills to manage these important structures.
