News from Lorna Goodman

Dear Friend,

As you are one of our most important supporters, I’m writing to share the news with you that Joshua David has stepped down from his position as President & CEO of World Monuments Fund to pursue other opportunities.

Joshua David successfully led World Monuments Fund in an important and strategic direction that resulted in donor expansion, organizational alignment, and programmatic focus. The pillars he put in place help ensure a bright future for the organization and we wish him well in his next endeavors. World Monuments Fund looks forward to building on his many accomplishments as we continue our critical work to preserve cultural heritage sites around the world.

Lisa Ackerman, our longtime Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, will serve as Interim Chief Executive Officer while the Board of Trustees undertakes the search for a new CEO.

We are so grateful for all you do to support WMF and our important global work. We look forward to keeping you updated on our initiatives.

With appreciation,
Lorna Goodman
Chair, Board of Trustees
