Solidarity

We at World Monuments Fund stand in solidarity with communities of color after the horrifying death of George Floyd and so many others.

As an international organization we are dedicated to promoting and preserving the diversity represented by places of cultural significance—with the ultimate goal of creating a more compassionate world. Respect for and celebration of difference is at the core of our values and we categorically condemn all forms of racism, hatred, and violence.

As we work to protect and preserve our shared history and forge a path forward, we recognize that we have a collective responsibility to address the deep-seated racism that exists in our societies, and to listen to those at the center of this struggle.

We at WMF are committed to being part of this crucial endeavor through our work elevating unheard voices and helping to bring recognition, appreciation and understanding of the world’s diverse stories.
