“Latin American Modernism at Risk” panel discussion presented by World Monuments Fund and The Museum of Modern Art

“Latin American Modernism at Risk” explored the preservation challenges faced by modern buildings and sites in Latin America. Panelists spoke about Watch sites featured in the MoMA exhibition “Latin America in Construction: Architecture 1955–1980.” Opening remarks by MoMA’s Barry Bergdoll and WMF’s Lisa Ackerman. Panelists: Javier Ramirez Campuzano (Ruta de la Amistad); John Loomis (National Art Schools); Claudio Vekstein (Casa Sobre el Arroyo); Paulina Villanueva Arismendi (Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas); and Enrique Vivoni Farage (Henry Klumb House).
