Restoring the Dutch Reformed Church—Season 2

In summer 2010, World Monuments Fund returned to Newburgh, New York, for the second season of its field school program at the Dutch Reformed Church. Working in partnership with the City of Newburgh, the National Park Service, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh, and the Newburgh Preservation Association, the program allowed several high school students to participate in the six-week, hands-on program.

Trained by preservation experts, the students repaired and restored windows and exterior architectural details while learning preservation best practices. This 6-minute video documents their experience.
