Alhambra, Spain

A Heritage from Home Virtual Tour

The pride and jewel of Andalusia, the Alhambra dates back to the thirteenth century and is the most important surviving remnant of the period of Islamic rule in the Iberian Peninsula. The palace is a cultural and architectural icon, inscribed on the World Heritage list in 1984 in recognition of its universal beauty and its unique historical significance.

Join WMF Spain Executive Director Pablo Longoria for an expedition to the top of one of Granada’s most well-known hills, where the characteristic intricate designs and rich ornamentation of the Alhambra palace will take your breath away.
