Coastal environments are often highly dynamic, volatile and hazardous places. Some of our most treasured heritage sites are located here, at the frontlines of climate change. Join us to explore a range of approaches to assessing risk and vulnerability at different scales, from global strategies to local sites. Drawing on case studies from New Zealand, England, Malta and beyond, our international panel comprises Alessandra Bonazza (University of Bologna), Antoni Moore (University of Otago), Paul Lankester (English Heritage), David Cardona (Heritage Malta) and Rob Woodside (English Heritage).

Coastal Connections is a joint initiative between World Monuments Fund and English Heritage to facilitate knowledge exchange and best practice amongst site managers, communities and those who care for coastal heritage sites worldwide. Our series of workshops draws on case studies and real-world experience to offer new perspectives, broaden understanding and explore practical solutions for improving the sustainable management of coastal heritage sites.
