Join World Monuments Fund (WMF) and the Central Park Conservancy (CPC) for an evening celebrating the past and future of a New York City landmark.

date & time
Location
Bethesda Terrace, Central Park
Mid-Park at 72nd Street
New York, NY 10024
United States
This project has been made possible, in part, by World Monuments Fund and the Central Park Conservancy. World Monuments Fund’s Cultivating Resilience program has been made possible by support from the Gerard B. Lambert Foundation.

Meet us at Bethesda Terrace in the heart of Central Park for a discussion about how historic landscapes can respond to a changing climate.
CPC President and CEO Elizabeth W. Smith will join WMF President and CEO Bénédicte de Montlaur for a short conversation exploring how Central Park can adapt to environmental stresses while remaining an inclusive public space for generations to come. Dr. Meredith Wiggins, WMF’s Senior Director of Climate Adaptation, will moderate the event.
The discussion will highlight WMF’s Cultivating Resilience program, which fosters climate resilience at historic gardens and cultural landscapes around the world.
Light bites and cocktails will be served as we celebrate the CPC and WMF’s collaboration to research Central Park’s climate vulnerabilities and promote a sustainable future.
Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to two per person. Attendees must be registered and confirmed in advance to attend the event.
