World Monuments Fund Peru (WMF Peru) and proyectoamil invite you to a conversation and screening of the documentary Abiseo, Cultural Forest of the Chachapoya.
The film follows an interdisciplinary WMF Peru team as they venture deep into Río Abiseo National Park—a UNESCO Mixed World Heritage Site—on an unprecedented expedition to the park’s Historic–Cultural Zone. Their mission: to investigate, document, and undertake pioneering conservation efforts at Gran Pajatén, one of the most significant legacies of the Chachapoya culture.
The screening will be followed by a conversation with the documentary director, Rosemarie Lerner (Lúcida Media) and WMF Peru Executive Director, Juan Pablo de la Puente.
