Join us and The Arts Arena to discover the Mosul Cultural Museum rehabilitation project and meet the international members of the team.
Constructed in late 1960s by Mohamed Makiya, this landmark of Iraqi modernism was destroyed in 2015 by ISIS, and has been restored by WMF since 2020, together with the Musée du Louvre, the Iraqi State Board of Antiquities and Heritage, the Smithsonian Institution, with the support of ALIPH Foundation, and will reopen soon.
