Jewish cultural heritage sites are a testament to the enduring spirit and profound contributions of Jewish communities across the globe. These sites are reflective of the rich tapestry of Jewish history, culture, and religion, symbolizing the interwoven relationships between Jewish people and the diverse societies they have lived among.

From the ancient synagogues of Europe to the vibrant Jewish quarters of North Africa and the Americas, each site tells a unique story of resilience, creativity, and exchange. These places are not just remnants of the past-they are living monuments to the shared human experience, showcasing how different cultures have embraced, protected, and nurtured Jewish heritage.
This exhibition invites you to explore these remarkable sites, understanding how they serve as bridges between the Jewish community and the broader world, reflecting a legacy of mutual respect and cultural symbiosis.

The exhibition has been developed by UNESCO, as part of the cooperation with the World Monuments Fund on the protection of Jewish cultural heritage and features Jewish cultural sites through the eyes of young photographers located within the boundaries of the UNESCO World Heritage properties in Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Suriname, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

This exhibition builds on WMF's Jewish Heritage Program which has lead international efforts to showcase and preserve these historically and culturally significant places.

This exhibition will be available for public viewing from January 23rd to January 31st from 9am - 5:30pm daily.
