The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Metropolitan Museum of Art and World Monuments Fund’s collaboration includes the creation of a documentary series for The Met’s redesigned Michael C. Rockefeller Wing.  

Africa’s Cultural Landmarks, directed by Ethiopian-American social documentary and multimedia visual artist Sosena Solomon, highlights 12 of the most notable historic sites across sub-Saharan Africa. Many of these sites represent places where WMF has conducted long-term conservation work.

Magnum Foundation

Our partnership with Magnum Foundation showcases the talents of emerging photographers who captured a selection of 2022 World Monuments Watch Sites. 

Titled Heritage in Focus, this innovative new visual storytelling fellowship was presented at the 2024 Paris Photo photography fair, the subject of a Skira publication of the same name, and more.

Google Arts & Culture

World Monuments Fund launched of an online platform via Google Arts & Culture that showcases both the unique stories of endangered heritage sites around the globe and the extraordinary efforts to preserve them. 

The Google Arts & Culture platform allows anyone, anywhere, the opportunity to experience a diverse range of heritage sites, from the earliest settlements of ancient Mesopotamia to pre-Incan settlements in Peru, through rich, multimedia digital storytelling.
