Frank Lloyd Wright's Florida Southern College Featured in Photography Exhibition at Charles Cowles Gallery, New York City

Florida Southern College, a remarkable ensemble of buildings by Frank Lloyd Wright, is the subject of “Child of the Sun”: Florida Southern College, an exhibition of stunning photographs by Robin Hill at the Charles Cowles Gallery in Chelsea. The buildings at Florida Southern are the largest integrated collection of Wright structures in the world, and were built between 1938 and 1959. They were placed on the 2008 World Monuments Watch, a list of 100 endangered sites, due to significant deterioration. The restoration of the dramatic Water Dome was completed in 2007 and several other projects are currently underway.
