Gauri Somnath Temple (Omkareshwar)

Gauri Somnath Temple is believed to have been built in the eleventh century. A.D. and is one of several shrines dedicated to the Lord Shiva in Omkareshwar. Located on a Hindu pilgrimage path, Gauri Somnath temple figures prominently during festival periods when huge numbers of locals and pilgrims travel to Omkareshwar to celebrate.
