History and Conservation of Jerónimos Monastery and Church

The sixteenth-century Jerónimos Monastery is an architectural masterpiece filled with artistic elements that have been admired for centuries. World Monuments Fund’s commitment to protect Jerónimos Monastery,  has been long-standing. As a whole, the goal of the comprehensive project is to minimize the risk of deterioration at the monument and ensure a cohesive treatment of the whole site.
