Lakshmi Narayan Mandir

Built in the early seventeenth century, Lakshmi Narayan temple is known for its elaborate wall paintings depicting mythological scenes from the Mahabharata and Ramayana periods as well as significant social and political events from the era. The spatial layout of the temple differs greatly from typical Hindu plans, but its octagonal-shaped main shrine confirms its identity.
