Moti Mahal (Ramnagar)

Moti Mahal was built in the seventeenth century in the tribal district of Mandla on the banks of the river Narmada. It was built by the Gond ruler Hridayshah along with monuments including Rani Mahal, Rai Bhagat ki kothi, and Vishnu temple. Environmental pressures pose one of the main threats to the mahal, with water damage seepage affecting both the interiors and structural integrity of the building.
