Studying the Churning of the Sea of Milk Gallery

This video details the survey and research conducted at the Churning of the Sea of Milk Gallery, one of the most significant bas-reliefs at Angkor Wat depicting the eternal struggle between good and evil. Led by a team of technicians, a survey of the ceiling is the first step in the plan to install a wooden ceiling replica of the ceiling originally in place.

Restoration of the gallery was started in 2007 and finished in 2012— a milestone restoration project at the temple of Angkor Wat by WMF.
