World Monuments Fund at Madhya Pradesh

In 2012, WMF launched a collaborative project with the Government of Madhya Pradesh to safeguard the state’s remarkable cultural heritage. WMF’s India-based project team has been documenting conditions at nearly 40 sites to create comprehensive plans for conserving these heritage sites in the future.

The Madhya Pradesh Cultural Heritage Project is building local capacity; fostering peer networks of conservation professionals; and producing valuable documentation for the resiliency of these sites.
