Irreplaceable

WMF's 60th Anniversary Endowment Campaign

Protecting Living Heritage Around the Globe

As part of our 60th Anniversary, WMF is launching a visionary Endowment Campaign for the future of cultural heritage preservation, aiming to grow our endowment by $60 million.

With a foundational $20 million Endowment Challenge Grant from The Robert W. Wilson Charitable Trust, every gift made to the Campaign will see a significantly amplified impact through this strategic endowment match, wherein their gift will match 50% of every dollar raised up to $40 million before December 31, 2027.

This fortified endowment is a critical funding source that will advance the entirety of our efforts across conservation, advocacy, and education programs, all while building an institution that takes its place alongside the world’s leading non-governmental entities as a global powerhouse. An organization with the necessary influence and voice to drive home the urgency of safeguarding the irreplaceable for generations to come.

The Opportunity Is Now

Plans of this magnitude demand an equally ambitious fundraising strategy.

We will continue to protect the world’s treasures while also advancing the field, by endowing the preservation work at the heart of our identity as an organization, to support the diverse portfolio of our projects and strengthening our advocacy and communications efforts. We will strengthen our advocacy and communications efforts, providing communities around the globe with a reliable partner to amplify their voices, attract global attention, and secure vital resources.

The Suzanne Deal Booth Institute for Heritage Preservation at World Monuments Fund will serve as WMF’s dedicated resource center for professional training, higher education program development, and targeted networking opportunities in support of heritage preservation globally.

The Institute will build upon our existing programs like Bridge to Crafts Careers (B2CC), and academic partnerships. Skills acquisition programs will be an essential component of the Institute, offering a variety of targeted workshops, trades training, master classes, internships, and certificate programs to support growth and excellence in the field.

Your support will help sustain this one-of-a-kind center.
