Mathilde Augé, an art historian, joined World Monuments Funds in 2023 to become the representative in France. Prior to joining WMF, she directed the cultural programming at the French Institute Alliance Française In New York, curating programs in performing and visual arts as well as conversations on heritage and preservation. Previously, she worked in publishing for different French publishing houses such as Gallimard and Presses Universitaires de France in Paris. A former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Ulm), she has a Master in art’s history from the University Panthéon Sorbonne and a master’s in Media, Art and Creation from HEC Paris.
