Mitsuo Inagaki

Field Representative, Japan

Mitsuo Inagaki joined WMF in May 2009 as the first Field Representative for Japan. Previously, Mitsuo served as the Head of Corporate Communications and Corporate Officer at Google Inc. (Japan). Prior to that, he spent almost two decades as Head of Corporate Affairs and Executive Team member at American Express (Japan), where he was also accountable for Government Relations and Philanthropy and promoted the corporate principle of Good Citizenship throughout Japan by supporting tourism initiatives in Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, and Fukuoka. Mitsuo also supported WMF’s launch of the first Watch site project in Japan, at Tomo Port, and organized the Watch 10th Anniversary Photo Exhibitions. He holds B.A.s in Economics from Waseda University in Japan and Journalism from Fresno State University (or California State University in Fresno).
