The 2016 World Monuments Fund/Knoll Modernism Prize was awarded to Molenaar & Co. architecten, Hebly Theunissen architecten, and Michael van Gessel landscapes for the rehabilitation of the Justus van Effen complex in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, designed and built by Michiel Brinkman 1919-1922. This booklet describes the history of the building, and its restoration project.
