WMF seeks a qualified professional for the role of Multimedia Graphic Designer to support the organization's mission by maintaining and enhancing WMF’s visual brand. A key member of the Communications team, she/he will produce visual assets across all channels to help implement a cohesive communications strategy for the entire organization. This is a hybrid position with a minimum three days in the office required.

II. Responsibilities 

  • Support the Communications department in the conception, design, and production of multimedia deliverables such as brochures, emails, social media graphics, animations, infographics, presentations, videos, and occasionally logos and websites
  • Support the Development department by designing materials such as invitations, donor mailings, presentations, and event collateral
  • Support WMF’s worldwide network of affiliates, regional representatives, and project partners by designing and overseeing the production of communications materials, ensuring that it adheres to WMF’s brand guidelines
  • Produce templates for internal and external applications
  • Research and source imagery with an understanding of usage rights
  • Design and manage the production of WMF-branded collateral such as apparel and donor gifts

III. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in visual communications, graphic design, or related field
  • Five to seven years of experience producing creative, strategic designs for every medium
  • Fluency in the Adobe Creative Suite with animation and video editing experience highly preferred
  • Familiarity with designing for Microsoft 365 products
  • Experience with prototyping applications such as InVision, Sketch, Figma or similar is a plus
  • Ability to conceptualize and develop a complete project from ideation to launch
  • A keen eye for design and typography with the ability to produce polished results in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while working on multiple projects and timelines
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with effective file management and versioning habits
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to articulate ideas clearly, accurately, and concisely
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to work with staff at all organizational levels
  • A team player with a willingness to help others
  • An interest in cultural heritage conservation, history, architecture, and art a plus
  • A curiosity for and ongoing education in the latest standards for web and document accessibility through a disability inclusion lens
  • A proactive approach to finding and improving accessibility across our platforms
  • Makes recommendations for brand standards around illustration, photography, and vendors that promote a standard of equity and inclusion

V. Compensation and Benefits

The World Monuments Fund offers a comprehensive and highly competitive compensation and benefits package, including paid time off, wellness and sick time off, holiday time off, and a multitude of other insurance benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a fully comprehensive retirement plan.

The salary range for this position will be $65,000-80,000, depending on experience.
