Phnom Bakheng Brick Shrine Conservation and Stabilization Workshop

Compilation of materials relating to a 2010 workshop on the conservation and stabilization of the brick shrines of Phnom Bakheng, one of the oldest temples in the ancient city of Angkor, in Cambodia. The workshop was organized by World Monuments Fund to review and prioritize threats to the brick shrines and to develop recommendations for structural stabilization and materials conservation. The packet contains the workshop agenda and minutes, reports on previous interventions, existing conditions, and materials analysis, an illustrated glossary of terms, technical drawings, and archival photos.
