Proposal for the Conservation of the Hall of Dancers at Preah Khan

Outlines the scope of a work for a project to conserve a key structure of the temple complex of Preah Khan in Angkor, Cambodia, known as the Hall of Dancers. The Hall of Dancers is located on the principal East-West axis of the temple complex and many of its architectural elements are thought to be unique to Khmer art. This document describes the condition of the structure, lists structural repair recommendations, and proposes a budget for the project. The 12th century temple complex of Preah Khan in Angkor, Cambodia is one of the most significant remains of the ancient Khmer civilization. This is one of a series of reports charting the evolution of the conservation efforts of World Monuments Fund at Preah Khan.
